FELISATI VITTORIO

Vittorio Felisati (Mestre 1912 - 2004). He is the brother of Giovanni Felisati, partisan which is dedicated a street in Mestre. In 1923 he graduated from art school in his city. Between 1937 and 1950 he exhibited at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa.
Between 1947 and 1952 he was involved in several awards in the region. Since 1958 he exhibited his works in ten editions of the Prix Mestre, winning in '62, the Golden Paintbrush. In 1983 he exposed thirty-five work in an exhibition as a tribute to the history of Mestre and in 1990 he participated in a retrospective of self-portraiture. In 1996 he received the Leone di Cristallo order merits art related to Christian culture and the following year he obtained the Award solidarity Mestre. His works are exhibited in various public and private venues including City Hall of Mestre and the Church of Carpenedo.
During his long artistic career, the works of Vittorio Felisati witness the profound transformation of the area and surroundings of Mestre from the first urban development searching stteings more naturalistic.
On 2012 the exibition "Il paesaggio che esiste. Vittorio Felisati (1912 - 2004)" at Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre.
