Alain Chivilò was born in Venice. From the attending of the lagoon city, it starts an unbreakable bond in arts. He currently lives in the Marca Trevigiana and at the same time he begins a constant cultural travel in Italy and abroad.
From childhood a contact with the world of art is present in the life of Alain Chivilò, through the friendship with the figurative painter Eugenio Da Venezia. Art perceptions acquired are to be classified in the typical point of a child, but time after time they have had a slow maturation. An interesting collaboration with Eugenio was during the “Marco Polo” drama prize organized by RAI Italian Radio and Television with work in pastel and pencil on paper, chosen by the Alain school as unique design representative to the national competition. Obviously the choice of the course was free, but the reality led him to develop a process of scientific and economics studies with main jobs as quality-security assurance and credit manager. The passion for art has always remained in Alain and it has grown through the way of writing and speech. The first step was devising a heartfelt tribute to Eugenio Da Venezia with a website dedicated to him.
Then next step it has been with a biographic section of modern masters and contemporary masters, adding a real live interview with artists. In a parallel manner he starts working as freelance journalist through collaborations in newspapers and magazines where the critical analyses are the so-called daily bread. In addition Alain Chivilò, as an art critic and curator, organizes cultural events and writes critical essays in monographs and exhibition catalogs, as well as presenting artists in national trade fairs, conferences, work shops and solo and group art exhibitions. He is member of the Paolo Rizzi association collaborating in the homonym journalism award.
